Lyrics -1987 B-side-recording
It’s time
Time to reconsider
Time to search my soul
My life in these few pages
Time to write the book of my manhood
Water flows beneath the bridge
There’s still time
There’s still time to believe
My mind
Is burning fire emotion
I push everyone to the edge
I’ve only found destruction
How long can I go on
I’ve been losing
Hurting for someone to hold Someone to believe
Someone to release
Someone to believe in me
Oh lay your healing hands upon me
Lay your hands on my soul
It’s time
A time to believe
A time to believe (Oh yeah)
I’ve searched
A thousand eyes to find love
I know I’ve been a fool
To think that I could find you
I know that I’ve been losing my mind
I found heartache
Hurting for someone to hold Someone to believe
Someone to release
Someone to believe in me
Oh lay your healing hands upon me
Lay your hands on my soul
It’s time
A time to believe
A time to believe (Oh yeah)
And I
I stand before you naked
There’s no more to be seen
Those dreams I could never capture
I’ve finally let them go
I’ve been losing
Hurting for someone to hold
Someone to believe
Someone to release
Someone to believe in me
Oh lay your healing hands upon me
Lay your hands on my soul
It’s time
A time to believe
A time to believe
In my soul
Oh lay your healing hands upon me
Lay your hands on my soul
It’s time
A time to believe
A time to believe
A time to believe
2019 Downstream narration and lyrics
Narration
I was walking in the presence of love
And with your healing hands upon me
I knew it was time to reconsider
Time to believe
Lyrics
Lord, laying your healing hands upon me
Lay your hands on my soul
It’s time to believe
Narration
And so through love
I tore it all down
Broke it all up
and started to build it back up again
Knowing that the tougher it got
And the more that I sweat
I Was one step closer to home
