This February 16th – 20th, Mike Peters will present the music of The Alarm at four exclusive US Gathering events that will each feature a classic Mike Peters un-alarm-ed and un-plugged acoustic set covering all eras of The Alarm’s 40th Anniversary music celebrations, along with an exclusive premiere of the brand new Alarm movie 50 Days in Lockdown.
In 2022, Twenty First Century Films presents 50 Days In Lockdown Inspired by real life events, from the occupation of the Capital Building to a caravan in North Wales. 50 days in Lockdown captures the real time recording process of the new album by The Alarm. Written and recorded in just 50 days with songs presented live from the legendary Rockfield Studios, this is the story of one band’s lockdown and how a group of isolated musicians fed off each others virtual energy to create an album that ‘captures the zeitgeist’ of the global lockdown.

16th February 2022 – Pearl Street Warehouse. Washington D.C, USA
We flew direct to Washington DC, an eight hour trip and 3662 miles on an empty plane and deserted terminals. We felt like extras on a movie. With our boys in tow and Andy as our Tour Manager, we are a compact team. Staying calm and keeping focused on the next 24 hours ahead is a useful tip, especially given the intensity of the next few days…traversing from Washington DC, New Hampshire, NYC, LA… it’s a lot of mileage together in close proximity. Sightseeing awaits, no matter how tight our schedule. Just set the alarm a little earlier. We, the eternal tourists. The city was quiet and we grabbed the empty silence with 2 hands. We’ve visited the Reflecting Pond endless times, with and without the kids, all through the ages but each visit feels like the first time, seeing life through new eyes. Onward to the Capitol Building and the instigator / spark / inspiration for The Alarm’s new War album, written and recorded over “50 Days in Lockdown” after Mike watched the Riots live on the news back on Jan 6th 2021. From the Capitol to the Venue and time to get the show on the road. In the blink of an eye, we were back in the groove. Setting up the ‘night’ for the Experience, the movie premiere of ‘50 Days in Lockdown’, the Q& A and then finally the performance. By the time, Mike hit the stage, it was 2am real time for us Brits. Dylan & Evan were ‘still standing’, running the merchandise and handling questions from the audience. The feeling after delivering a show with good positive people behind the scenes and out front is an exquisite feeling. There’s nothing quite like it. Exhausted but elated after the show, we packed ourselves into the tour bus, 4330 am British time for us and headed one hour north to our hotel to get slightly ahead of ourselves for the 468 miles to drive, in order to arrive in time for our second concert in Derry, New Hampshire – Jules Jones-Peters

19th February 2022 – The Gramercy Theatre, New York, USA
Whilst flying across America this morning I reflected about last night. The Gramercy Theatre is an imposing building steeped in history, situated located in the Gramercy neighborhood of Manhattan, on 127 East 23rd Street. As the lights went down MP delivered a spontaneous & eclectic set of songs, dictated literally live by the audience as they shouted out an array of their personal Alarm fave hits. Mike’s known as the Human Jukebox and last night he performed a dazzling array of Alarm classics and secret gems. The audience were alive, singing along to every word, United in song. For many this was a first outing to a concert since the 2 years of the pandemic and so last night became a life-affirming experience for many. Mike too shone on the stage, in a city that has responded to him so generously since the heady days of 1983 when The Alarm first came to America as guests of U2 – Jules Jones-Peters
