Mike Peters is an Welsh born singer/songwriter/producer born Michael Leslie Peters on 25th February 1959 in Prestatyn, Wales. Died 29th April 2025 in Dyserth, Waless
Mike Peters started his music career as a bass player in a band called Harry Hippie, with his first gig being on 6th October 1975 at the Talardy Hotel, St. Asaph, Wales at his sisters 21st birthday party. In 1975/76 Mike was the bass player of a band called Stripey who played in the local North Wales area. When Stripey split up Mike went on to form The Toilets where he changed from bass to guitar and took on the pseudonym Eddie Bop
