Fan Comments
There is no question that Mike Peters always gives his all whether it’s to 50 people in a pub or playing to to thousands in stadiums. I felt tonight was extra special because the gig meant as much to him, ìf not more so, as it did to the audience. You could sense a release of energy from the last six months. It’s been a long time coming but it’s good to be back – Garth Hamer
Mike was great. It was so good to watch and listen to live music again. The theatre did a great job. All very well organised. A great night – Michelle Burton
What a fantastic night
Emotionally charged, it was the best antidote to all of the sadness, disappointment and heartache that so many of us have experienced this year! Can’t thank enough, all those involved in making this happen. Both Rachel and I felt truly blessed to be there! PS….fingers crossed that Christmas came early Mike! and there’s more to come before it really does – Steve Simkins
Mike/MPO comments – About last night…Our first socially distanced concert, our first concert after Lockdown. A first for us all and an experience that I can ‘safely’ say was a night of a lifetime. A short film was made about life back on the road in these unprecedented times which we will share on the Big Night In next week. I have to say that MLP delivered a stunning performance and in return was delivered with a rapturous standing ovation to end a night in history. Music will keep us strong. – Jules Jones Peters on Facebook 26th September 2020
