Knickerboker Glory is a track that was specially written for the Fun In The Sun TV series.
Over the weekend 6th /7th October 2001 during the Poppy Fields sessions at Kinmel Hall, North Wales. Mike wrote and recorded a set of songs he had been commissioned to record for a BBC Wales TV series called Fun In the Sun. The production company had been pressurising Mike to deliver and he had no option but to write, record and create the project in one marathon stint. The other members of the band had gone back to their homes that weekend so James Kershaw the drummer of the Black Swans came in and performed all the drum parts with Mike recording everything else. The Fun In The Sun TV series was screened in January 2002.

Lyrics
Hey
A come on
Yeah
Riding the wings of the knickerboker glory
Alive in the dreams
The colours and the stories
Knickerboker glory
Hey
A come on
Yeah
Riding the wings of the knickerboker glory
Alive in the dreams
The colours and the stories
Knickerboker glory
Knickerboker glory
Hey
A come on
Yeah
