On Saturday 22nd May 2021 the night that originally would have been the Acoustic Gathering at Rhyl Town Hall, Mike Peters played a live stream from the venue that was broadcast on The Alarm Central platform.
The stream took the form of a live acoustic performance interspersed with short films recorded around the Rhyl and North Wales area that had a relevance to these songs and years.
Each song played is linked to a specific year and versions of these songs appear on the History Repeating 1981-2021 4 LP vinyl edition available exclusively through the MPO

On Sunday 23rd May 2021 Mike Peters and Jules Jones-Peters started the Love Hope Strength challenge to walk the 177 miles of Offa’s Dyke from Prestatyn to Chepstow. During the trek Mike recorded further acoustic songs that appear on the collection and these were broadcast on a daily basis on The Alarm Central platform.
