Happy Xmas (War Is Over) first appeared on the Standards album released in November 1990. It was scheduled to be released as a single in December 1990, but with the outbreak of The Gulf War the single was withdrawn from the schedules and British and American radio stations decided it wasn’t right to play it. This song is a cover version of the John & Yoko/Plastic Ono Band with the Harlem Community Choir song released in 1971.
