Gareth Jones aka Gaz Top, is a long time friend of Mike Peters and worked as a a roadie for Seventeen and The Alarm He has also become a regular face at the Gathering and on certain tours as the compare. For the USA Sigma tour he produced and internet blog/podcast about the tour.

Gaz is also an musician in his own right and has played in a number of bands. He has appeared on stage with The Alarm on a number of occasions playing bass, guitar and tambourine in encores especially at The Gathering.

He is also a well established TV, radio and Internet presenter.

In the 1980’s he was one of the hosts of UK Saturday morning children’s show Get Fresh. He took this opportunity to do a piece about the Alarm and talk about what he did as a roadie for the band. – Get Fresh Video Link
