The Saturday Gigs is a song that was originally performed by Mott The Hoople and released in October 1974. In 2006 The AlarmMMVI undertook a set of gigs once a month on a Saturday to work around Mike’s cancer treatment program . Each show would end with the Mott The Hoople track playing as the band left the stage. A selection of songs recorded on the tour were released on a live CD. Mike went into the studio to record a version of this song to appear on that album
