Owen Thomas is a drummer who was a member of Welsh group Jess, they had supported The Alarm in 1990 and Mike Peters. In 1994 when Mike Peters & The Poets started to play live again, he was part of the new band line up. Owen has also played live and on albums at various times when other drummers were not available for touring or recording requirements

After The Poets, Owen was a member of Cartoon who released several Singles/EPs between 1996 and 1999
