James Stevenson is a musician that has played in many bands including Chelsea, Generation X, Gene Loves Jezebel, Holy Holy. He teamed up with Mike Peters in 1998 as part of The New Electric Band as it was billed at the time for the Rise Tour. He has been a constant playing in the band since this date and has also appeared in Coloursound and Children of the revolution
Live James has mainly played electric guitar. Since 2018 has also played bass and bass pedals or the through the Kemper Amps system introduced to the live format since 2022
