Close was the first album to be released as part of the In the Poppy Fields Bond collection in 2002 by The Alarm, it was released on CD by The Twenty First Century Recording Company label as catalogue number 21C025. In 2021 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album a vinyl edition was released on red vinyl on The Twenty First Century Recording Company label as catalogue number ARCCLP001
As part of the bond a special website was create for the album releases, each CD had a special password code to gain access to extra content
