Craig Adams joined The New Electric Band in 1998 as part of The Rise tour. He has been a regular member of the band up to 2017. There have been times when he was absent when his main band The Mission were touring. He was also a member of Coloursound both live and in the studio. He also plays with Spear of Destiny and was a former member of the Sisters of Mercy.
