Back Into The System was released as the debut solo single by Mike Peters & The Poets on 17th January 1994.. It was released in the UK by CRAI records on 12″ vinyl, CD single and cassette single format. The other tracks featured on these releases were A New Chapter, 21st Century, Nol I Mewn I’r System, Canrif 21.

The video for the single was recording at Rhyl Town Hall on Saturday 18th December 1993 as part of The Gathering 2 event
