The origins of All Around The World It’s Christmas Time was in 1990 when Mike wrote the song, there is a home video of family and friends of Mike Peters recording a version of it at his house that Christmas. This was shown as part of a Big Night In presentation stream
The song was first played at the MPO Christmas Party at 100 Club, London, England gig in 1996 and again at Cavern Club, Liverpool, England in December 1997
All Around The World It’s Christmas Time was first recorded and appeared of the Children Of The Revolution on the album VI released in 2000, a new version was recorded for the 2004 Christmas EP that was put out through the MPO on The Twenty First Century Recording Company. It then appeared on the December 2020 release Mike Peters Christmas Jukebox
The song was used on the trailer to promote the virtual Christmas Gathering Event first broadcast on 19th December 2020
